Terms of use

The site describes a lab-testing service that is not yet available. Nothing on it is an offer to sell a test, and joining the waitlist does not create an order, a payment obligation or a clinical relationship with anyone. When testing becomes available, tests ordered through Numeral will be private-pay and not covered by provincial health insurance.

The site explains what certain blood tests measure and why they can matter. That content is general education, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not tailored to you. Do not use it to make decisions about your health, and do not delay seeking care because of something you read here. If you think you have a medical emergency, call 911.

• Joining the waitlist requests early access. It does not guarantee that you will receive an invitation, that the service will launch in your province, or that it will launch at all.
• Any price shown is our current expectation and may change before launch. You will see the final price and terms, and give any required consents, before you are asked to pay for anything.
• We may invite people in any order, prioritize regions or groups, pause or close the waitlist, or end the early-access program at any time.
• You may leave the waitlist at any time by unsubscribing from our emails or by writing to us.
• Information about how we handle your waitlist entry is in our privacy policy.

You must have reached the age of majority in your province or territory to join the waitlist. The service we are building is intended for people located in Canada.

Some people have accounts on the Numeral product while it is being built and tested. Those accounts are for early testing only. The product may change or be reset without notice, and nothing in it is medical advice. If you have one:

• Keep your login details secure and do not share your account with anyone.
• Tell us right away at the contact address below if you suspect someone else has used your account.
• Give accurate information, and only upload documents that are yours or that you have the right to share.
• We may suspend or delete an account at any time, including to reset the product before launch.

Lab reports and other health information you place in a product account are handled as described in our privacy policy: stored only in Canada and never shared with analytics or advertising tools.

• Give accurate information and keep it current.
• Only submit your own contact details, or those of someone who has asked you to.
• Do not use bots, scrapers or automated tools on the site, submit the waitlist form other than through the page itself, or probe, overload or interfere with the site or its infrastructure.
• Do not copy, republish or resell the site’s content beyond what these terms allow.

We may remove waitlist entries and block access for anyone who breaks these terms or whose use we reasonably believe is harmful or fraudulent.

When you join the waitlist, use the site or email us, you are communicating with us electronically and agree that we may respond the same way. Notices we send by email to the address you gave us, or post on the site, satisfy any requirement that a communication be in writing.

If you send us suggestions or ideas about Numeral, we may use them freely, without payment or any obligation to you, and without treating them as confidential. This does not apply to your personal information, which is always handled under our privacy policy.

The site, including its text, design, graphics, brand marks and code, belongs to Candyblocks Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view the site and share links to it. Any other use, including reproducing or adapting the content or using our marks, needs our written permission. Names of laboratories and other third parties belong to their owners and appear only to describe the service.

The site may link to websites we do not control, such as laboratory locators or advertising opt-out pages. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and a link does not mean we endorse them.

The site and waitlist are provided as they are and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties or conditions of any kind, express or implied, including about accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not promise the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the service we describe will launch as described.

To the extent the law allows, Candyblocks Inc. and its directors, employees and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue or opportunity, arising from your use of the site or waitlist or your reliance on its content, even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or waitlist is limited to one hundred Canadian dollars.

Some provinces do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits. Where that is the case, these sections apply only as far as the law permits. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

If a claim is made against Candyblocks Inc. because you broke these terms or gave us false information, you agree to cover the losses and reasonable legal costs that result, to the extent the law allows.

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of British Columbia in Vancouver, unless the law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

We may update these terms. When we do, we update the effective date at the top of the page. If a change is material and you are on the waitlist, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated terms.

When the testing service launches, ordering a test will be governed by separate terms and clinical consents that you will see before you order.

These terms and our privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the site and waitlist. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term, we can still enforce it later.

You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours to a successor of the Numeral business, as described in the privacy policy.

If you leave the waitlist, your account is closed, or these terms end for any other reason, the sections on our content, feedback, warranties, liability, your responsibility for your breach, governing law and this general section continue to apply.
