Privacy policy
Effective September 15, 2026
Numeral is operated by Candyblocks Inc.. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our early-access waitlist, how we use it, where it is stored, and the choices you have. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
Who we are
Candyblocks Inc.
250 - 997 Seymour St, Vancouver, BC V6B 3M1
[email protected]
Our Privacy Officer is responsible for how we handle personal information and can be reached at that email address or by mail at the address above. Questions, requests and complaints about privacy go there. We respond within 30 days.
What we collect on the waitlist
When you request early access at numeralhealth.com/join, we ask for:
- Your first name and email address.
- Your province or territory and city, so we know where to open booking first.
- Your answers about what you would like to do, when, whether the expected price works for you, what you would like to know more about, and whether you are comfortable with clinician review.
- The consent statement you agreed to and the time you agreed to it.
- Campaign information about how you reached the site: any campaign tags in the link you clicked, the page you landed on, and the website that referred you.
The waitlist does not ask for, and we do not want, any information about your health, symptoms, medications or medical history.
How we use it
- To manage early access and invite you when booking opens in your province.
- To email you about Numeral’s launch and booking availability. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time by using it or by emailing us.
- To plan where and when to launch, using answers in aggregate.
- To understand which advertising and referral sources bring people to the site.
We may share statistics drawn from waitlist entries, such as how many people in a city have joined or how answers are distributed, with prospective clinician and laboratory partners. These statistics are aggregated and never identify you.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with other businesses for their own marketing.
Cookies, analytics and advertising measurement
The site stores campaign information in your browser’s session storage for the current tab so it can be saved with your waitlist entry. It is cleared when the tab closes. Your answers and contact details are never stored in the browser or placed in a web address.
To measure whether our advertising works, the marketing pages may use analytics and advertising tools, including Google Ads conversion measurement, the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, and a product analytics service. These tools may set cookies and receive your IP address, browser information, the pages you view, and the fact that a waitlist request was completed. They never receive your quiz answers, your name or your email address.
Google and Meta are located in the United States and use this information under their own privacy policies. You can limit their tracking through your browser’s cookie settings, Google’s ad settings, Meta’s ad preferences, and the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada’s opt-out page at youradchoices.ca.
When we may disclose information
We disclose personal information to service providers only so they can perform services for us, under contracts that limit what they may do with it. Beyond that, we may disclose it when the law requires or permits, for example to comply with a court order, warrant or lawful request from a Canadian or foreign authority, to investigate fraud or a security incident, or to protect the rights and safety of Numeral, its users or the public.
If Candyblocks Inc. or the Numeral business is sold, merged, financed, reorganized or becomes insolvent, personal information may be transferred to the acquiring or successor organization as part of that transaction, on the condition that it continues to be used in ways consistent with this policy.
Where your information is stored
Waitlist entries are stored in a database hosted in Toronto, Canada. Service providers we rely on may process limited information outside Canada: our email delivery provider receives your name and email address to send messages, and the measurement tools above receive the information described in that section. Information processed outside Canada is subject to the laws of the country where it is processed.
Product accounts and health information
Numeral’s testing service is not yet available. When it launches, ordering a test will involve a health questionnaire reviewed by a licensed clinician and lab results delivered to your account. That information is personal health information. It will be stored only in Canada, will never be shared with analytics or advertising tools, and will be covered by an updated version of this policy and a separate consent before you provide it.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist entries until we have completed launch outreach in your province, and for no more than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Records of consent are kept as long as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message or by emailing us.
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Ask us to correct or delete your information.
- Withdraw consent, subject to any legal requirement to keep a record.
Email [email protected] for any of these. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in British Columbia, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC.
Security
Information travels to and from the site over encrypted connections and is stored in an access-controlled database. Only people who need it to run the waitlist can see it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner as the law requires.
Age
This site and the waitlist are intended for people who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update the effective date at the top of the page. If a change affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
